I went to the Bluesfest in Byron Bay (that's an hours flight north of me) it was pretty rad, but because it was three days of festival goodness at 12 hours per day I'm not going to bother writing a review on each act I saw, but I will say that Rodrigo Y Gabriela put on an absolutely fantastic live show, so fantastic I saw them twice and I recommend that you do the same.

Other notable acts (in reverse order of appearance) include: Angus & Julia Stone, Vusi Mahlasela, Kate Miller-Heidke, the Cat Empire, the Audreys, G Love & Special Sauce, Ozomatli, Jools Holland and JJ Grey & Mofro.

On the last day I got sick making it considerably less enjoyable as I didn't have the energy to dance.

On top of that I lost my bank card so I didn't have the money to catch a cab or train when I got back home so I had to walk across half the city to catch a bus, while hungry, thirsty, partially deaf (ears went bang during landing) and with a headache. :|

So now I am still sick but recovering quickly, hoorah.

I will likely write some form of review on something later today (or tomorrow).

Also, I've gone over 10,000 pageviews. Not that I care about such things. :paranoid:

They're playing on a festival not too far from here, so I might go (I can get in for free anyways) if there's some more good stuff.
